The structure is three bays wide with an inset, centered, porte cochere. The bay to the left of the porte cochere has a two story, canted bay window. On the left side there is a single story, hip roofed, enclosed lanai. The structure is built on a post and pier foundation with a raised, lava rock perimeter. The Albert and Alice Berg Residence is significant as a good example of a Queen Anne revival style residence in Honolulu as well as for its associations with the development of Manoa valley, and more specifically the College Hills Tract. The mildly moderne style residence has masonry walls and a composition shingle, hipped roof with closed overhanging eaves and square, screened vents. The house fronts on the makai (ocean) side of Kiele Avenue, and its centered, hip gablet roofed, garage wing is flanked on either side by a 6' high masonry wall which define small, intimate courtyards on either side of the garage. The Gobidrum Watumull House is architecturally significant as a good example of a late 1930s house in Hawaii deisgned in a modern style. It reflects the design ideas of the Honolulu architectural firm Dahl & Conrad and is typical of its period in its design, use of materials, workmanship and methods of construction.
