Abstract
Built in 1926, this two-story bungalow has a U-shaped pavilion plan with a lateral running gable roof, two shallow front facing gable wings, open overhanging eaves with exposed rafter tails, and clapboard redwood siding. The J. Lindsay and Margaret Grimshaw Residence is significant as an example of a 1920s bungalow with a pavilion plan and rounded gables. It is associated with Magaret Grimshaw, one of the earliest female realtors in Hawaii.
