The Church of the Crossroads complex contains a chapel with cruciform plan and clerestory windows; there are three contributing buildings on the site. The complex integrates the design influences of the diverse ethnic, religious, and social backgrounds of the people of Hawaii in terms of architectural and artistic design forms. The Church of the Crossroads complex is significant for it’s association with the twentieth century social history of Honolulu. It is also significant as an example of the work of Claude Stiehl, master architect.
