When I reflect on efforts like mailing coconuts to save the Līhu‘e Post Office, or upon the generosity of partners like the Freeman Foundation, and donors who help cover personnel and internship costs or give selflessly to beautify downtown Hilo, I see what our Historic Hawai‘i community is capable of and willing to do.
