Kekoa Kaluhiwa

Kekoa Kaluhiwa is the Director of Land Operations at Kamehameha Schools. He previously served as First Deputy in the Department of Land and Natural Resources for the State of Hawai‘i where he was responsible for managing, administering, and exercising control over public lands, water resources, ocean waters, navigable streams, and non-commercial coastal areas. Kaluhiwa previously served as principal of Kuano‘o Communications, specializing in business development consulting in strategic public and government relations strategies. Mr. Kaluhiwa is a Kamehameha Schools Kapālama graduate. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Washington and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, with an emphasis in environmental planning and management theory.

Rosemary Fazio

Rosemary Fazio is of counsel with the law firm of Ashford + Wriston.  Her law practice of over 40 years focuses on real property and complex commercial litigation and arbitration.  Other community activity includes serving as the volunteer legal assistance lawyer at Kāne‘ohe Marine Base Hawai‘i. Her community service has included serving as a Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Hawai‘i Public Radio and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Waikīkī Improvement Association. Additionally, she has served as a director for the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, Child & Family Services, the YWCA (East Oahu), The Outdoor Circle, and Health & Community Services Council.

Leonard Isotoff

Len Isotoff is Senior Vice President, Pacific for Matson. He is responsible for overseeing operations in Matson’s Hawai‘i and South Pacific services. A native of Chuuk, Mr. Isotoff joined Matson in 1999 as Logistics Manager on Guam and has served in a variety of successive roles. Prior to Matson, Mr. Isotoff worked for Continental Micronesia Airlines, Casamar Inc., and the FSM National Fisheries Corporation (Pohnpei, FSM). Mr. Isotoff previously served on the Boards of Aloha United Way and the Honolulu Navy League. He has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Oregon State University.

Hallett H. Hammatt, Ph.D.

Hal Hammatt is President and Principal of Cultural Surveys Hawai‘i. He founded the firm in 1982 and has been active in the field of archaeology and historic preservation for 40 years.  He is trained in federal historic preservation regulations including Section 106 and NAGPRA, and has conducted training in historic preservation compliance.  He served, by Governor Appointment, on the State of Hawai‘i Historic Places Review Board for 8 years. His expertise in Hawaiian archaeology includes agricultural systems, sediment studies, lithic studies, and geoarchaeology.  Dr. Hammatt is experienced in handling multidisciplinary studies and complex, large projects, including surveys, data recovery, and site protection and interpretation.  He has extensive experience working on federal jobs and served as Historic Preservation Manager for the Navy’s 5-year Kaho‘olawe Ordnance Clearance Project.

Vernon Wong

Vernon Wong joined First Hawaiian Bank in 2005 and serves as Senior Vice President and Regional Business Manager for the Wealth Management Group. Prior to joining FHB, Mr. Wong worked at Ameriprise Financial for 21 years, serving as it’s FVP, leading a team of over 100 Financial Advisors in Hawai‘i. Other community service includes the boards of Catholic Charities Hawai‘i and the Diamond Head Theatre. Vernon has over 36 years of experience in the financial services industry in Hawai‘i. He has a BA in Business Administration from the University of Hawai‘i and an MBA from Chaminade University. He is also a graduate of the Pacific Century Fellows program. He and his wife Carla owns a bungalow built in 1927 in Mānoa.

Greg Pietsch

Greg Pietsch is President of Sunset Ranch Hawai‘i and a Managing Member and the acting President of Pietsch Properties, LLC. A real estate and finance company, Pietsch Properties is involved with several financial advisory, investment banking, real estate development and consulting projects in Hawai‘i and the western region of the continental United States. Previously, Greg was an owner of Eureka Capital Markets, LLC. Greg is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts. Born and raised in Honolulu, Greg attended Punahou School. He received his BBA from Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He has served on the Trust for Public Lands’ Hawai‘i Advisory Committee, including a term as Chair.

Wendy Rice Peterson

Wendy Rice Peterson’s roots on Maui go back six generations. She is a general partner for Kaonoulu Ranch in Upcountry Maui. She has been in the real estate industry for over 17 years and was the most productive realtor for Island Sotheby’s International Realty in 2016 and has been in the Top 100 Realtors in the state several times. She serves on the boards of the Maui Arts & Cultural Center, Hawaiian Mission Houses, Fred Baldwin Memorial Foundation, Seabury Hall and UH Maui College Chancellor’s Advisory Committee.

Rick Kiefer

Rick Kiefer is a Partner with the law firm Cades Schutte LLP in the Kahului, Maui office. Rick has practiced real estate law for 30 years and does extensive pro bono work for several of Hawai‘i’s largest conservation organizations.  His practice focuses on resort, condominium, commercial and subdivision developments.  He earned his JD from the University of California Davis School of Law and his BA from University of California Irvine.

Wendie McAllaster

HHF Planners Wendie McAllaster, ASLA, is a registered landscape architect and land use/environmental planner with over 30 years of experience in Hawai‘i.  As a Principal with HHF Planners, she specializes in historic preservation planning and landscape architecture, with an emphasis on cultural landscapes.  Wendie was the project manager and primary author for the award-winning Pearl Harbor Integrated Cultural Resources Management Plan, for seven Cultural Landscape Assessments for historic neighborhoods at Pearl Harbor, and the Rural Historic Landscape Assessment for the Robinson Family Homestead on Kaua‘i.  She contributed to Cultural Landscape Reports for all Navy installations in Hawai‘i.  Wendie received her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Michigan State University and Graduate Certificates in Historic Preservation and Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Hawai‘i.  Active in the community, Wendie is a past-president of the Junior League of Honolulu and has served on the local boards of ASLA and APA.  Wendie serves on the Programs committees.
