Abstract
Approved for Criterion A (Historical Events and Patterns) and Criterion C (Architecture and Engineering).  The two homes located on 2408 and 2414 Burbank Street are known as the Waterhouse-Walker residences.  The Waterhouse-Walker Residences have contributed to the broad patterns of development in the history of Hawaii during a time of tremendous growth of the outlying neighborhoods of Honolulu in the late 1920s as part of the Burbank Tract Development.  Architecturally, these houses are of artistic value and are two valuable and intact remaining examples of the Craftsman style homes that existed in this area.
