The John Walker Beach House is of local significance for its association with the development of the Lanikai neighborhood, of state significance for its association with Hawaii contractor John Walker, and of local significance for its embodiment of the Craftsman Bungalow Style, and use of Walker’s patented concrete block as a decorative element.
