The Thomas and Helene Farr Residence is significant on the local level as a good example of a colonial revival style house built in Honolulu during the 1920-1930s, which underwent a limited remodel in the 1950s. The house includes a number of distinctive features and is typical of its periods in its design, materials, workmanship and methods of construction.
