Abstract
The Old Lindsey House is a single-story residence sited well back from the highway. The house was moved south fifty feet and east fifty feet, however if remains in the same orientation and condition as originally built. The residence is one of three remaining structures on this two-acre site. The Lindsey House is significant as a remarkably intact example of the vernacular architecture that dotted the sloped landscape in this area of Hawaii. It is further significant for its association with Parker Ranch and the Lindsey family, both major forces influencing the development of this area.
