Group 70 International
Christine Mendes Ruotola, AICP, is a principal at Group 70, where she specializes in land use permitting for urban redevelopment projects. Her practice has primarily been focused on land use permitting for educational facilities and projects in Kaka‘ako and Waikīkī. She leads Group 70’s master planning services for the US Navy in Hawai‘i and throughout the Pacific Region, including Japan and Guam. Ms. Ruotola earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics and sociology from Duke University in North Carolina and a Master’s Degree in community planning from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. She is a certified planner with the American Institute of Certified Planners, a member of the American Planning Association, and is a LEED Accredited Professional and member of the U.S. Green Building Council, Hawai‘i Chapter. She is a graduate of Punahou School.
