Abstract
The Pioneer Mill Co. Office includes both a commercial building that was constructed in 1910 and an addition that was constructed in 1947. Both the original office and the addition are oriented north-south and located in the 300 block of Lahainaluna Road. The Pioneer Mill Company Office is the only extant building on Maui that is associated with the German company, H. Hackfeld & Co., Ltd., and was constructed during its ownership of Pioneer Mill. The sugar mill was razed in 2006. The office retains its architectural integrity as well as integrity of location and setting.
