The House at 1519 Oliver Street was built in 1926 on a partial lava rock foundation and is basically rectangular in plan. The roof is a combination hip and gable, and the interior walls and ceilings are finished with three-inch tongue-and-groove boards. The House at 1519 Oliver Street is significant as an intact example of Craftsman style architecture in the area surrounding the residence.
