Abstract
The Alfred W. and Anna P. Sturgis Residence is a typical 1950’s style home on O`ahu. Renowned Honolulu architect Alfred W. Sturgis designed this simple, yet distinctive, house for himself and his family.  Its Modern style, well handled indoor-outdoor relationships, concise use of open of space, and high attention to detail readily demonstrate it to be the work of a highly skilled architect. The residence is located in a quiet neighborhood at the lower end of Tantalus’ Forest Ridge. Situated alone Poloke Place, just off Forest Ridge Way, the property lies on the level, upper-most part of a downward sloping, 11,760 square foot lot, with a sweeping view of the Pacific Ocean.
