Abstract
The Haiku Fruit & Packing Company Manager’s House is located on a gently sloping 2.92 acre flag lot in rural Haiku. The single-story bungalow is surrounded by lawn with a driveway running along its right side. The house has cut-shingle siding and four figure-four brackets at the gable ends and ridge line. The Haiku Fruit & Packing Company Manager’s House is architecturally significance as a good example of a large-scale 1920 bungalow-style residence on the island of Maui. The house is also significant for its associations with the development of Haiku and the development of pineapple on Maui.
